About Me
I am Dr. Becky Poplawski, a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY34552) providing evidence-based care to adults and couples. I use an integrative therapeutic approach involving components of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for PTSD, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).
I earned my master’s and doctorate degrees at the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium and specialized in Women’s Mental Health, PTSD, and Couples Therapy during my pre-doctoral internship at Sepulveda Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Los Angeles. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at The Clinic of San Francisco, where I worked with couples and with individuals experiencing difficulties with PTSD, anxiety, and life stressors.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, warm, and personalized. I incorporate mindfulness practices into my approach and work with clients to find the balance of acceptance, self-compassion, and change in their lives.
I see clients in-person in San Francisco and via telehealth throughout California.
